Good Bones But Needs Improvement, Nov 01, 2009

| CLKC is secluded and in a discreet location. They had a good mixer station with everything you'd expect. We?re not fans of club snacks in general, but it was below par. The hosts/staff were pleasant. Door donation was extremely cheap. A few lockers were available, bring your own lock. Dance floor was faux wood vinyl flooring on concrete, filthy sticky, and so dancing was near impossible. Floors were dirty everywhere, which made the place seem generally unclean. They had a variety of rudimentary undecorated play rooms with beds and couches, but no changes of linens, no towels, and some of the play room couches were cloth which can't be clean. They seemed to have plenty of restroom facilities, but restrooms needed cleaning. They had a shower, although oddly placed. Sound system was not good, consisting of two big speakers. DJ was trying, would take requests, always at his stations, and sometimes effective. Crowd was in large part middle aged, pleasantly social, and always polite, but be aware HWP couples were in the extreme minority. We're always grateful to anyone trying to run a discreet lifestyle club and not every club needs to attract the same people. We?re hopeful that they?ll work on being cleaner, a few small improvements could go a long way. |
