| We recently stayed at the Rooftop with my friends with Motorcity. What a great time. The hotel's new management team has really turned the place around...much much cleaner. It shows because they actually had to turn people away on Sunday from the amount of people that showed up. Take my advise...tyr out the place. If you don't enjoy your stay there now then you just don't know how to have fun. |

We stayed there the other weekend. Kinda of a real joke. Big swing party. A bunch of over sixty couples standing around on Saturday night drinking Bush Lite and smoking generic cigarettes. The pool was dirty. Cigarette butts allover the pool deck. A half witted group of locals hanging out at the pool. Our feet were totally black within an hour after we layed out at the pool. The barbecue is not existant. We got ham sandwiches and generic soda! Ooooooh! Our bathroom was a mess. We weren't impressed with the amenities--a long haired massage therapist with a heavy southern accent. Maybe he is from West Virginia or something. The "crew' was okay but we are sticking to what we have heard at other places. For the cost it just sucks. No hot tub, volleyball or activities. We decided we are going to go other places. I guess you have to experience it yourself to decide.

Well, we are firm believers in letting the product sell itself and we don't like to let others like ourselves get duped/pooped by unfair advertising in the interest of the horny locals and money-making establishment itself.
If you want to get a good idea of what goes on at this place type:

THIS IS WHAT YOU ARE PAYING TOP DOLLAR FOR A ROOM! ABOUT TWO HUNDERED DOLLARS A NIGHT!

3. read the entries
THIS WILL COST YOU TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS A NIGHT. The Rooftop Resort let's single men in by the herd if they pay $160.00. Being single, they have disposable incomes and no girlfriends--they can usually afford it.

2. look at the sites closely--THEY ARE ALL FREE LINKS AND 80 percent of them don't advertise or associate with the ROOFTOP RESORT!!!!!!
Hmmmmmmmmm.....read the message board and review the site thoroughly and a couple can see they are getting ripped off and the screws put to them hard. We tried to post and contact the resort about our bad experience and they just erase it from their message board. Or they just don't respond to our e-mails! Notice there is no CLOSE-UP pictures of the resort itself or any real people that go there? Hmmmm! How interesting?
We aren't the only couple that has been taken by such horrific experiences at this place. Many couples at our weekend resort in Lutz Florida have experienced the same, if not worst.
Spend your money wisely. Lutz Resorts are never empty and cheaper. HEDO is never empty or boring. Desire is never empty or boring. TRAPEZE is RARELY EMPTY AND EVEN ON SINGLE GUY NIGHT IS NOT THAT FILLED or WANKED OUT! The amenities at other places just can't compare to the Rooftop's "poor EXCUSES FOR amenities." The majority of couples at the higher-end resorts are quality professional people with no gimicks or hypes.
Our CONCLUSION IS THE ROOFTOP RESORT CATERS TO SINGLE MEN BECAUSE THE HAVE DISPOSABLE INCOMES! THEY LET THEM IN BY THE HERD. ALSO, THE LOCALS HANG AROUND WAITNG FOR NEW PREY EVERY WEEKEND AND 99 percent of them are less than desirable. It's almost like a scene from DELIVERANCE without the ALLIGATORS! THE HOTEL IS OVERPRICED and VERY DIRTY. SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME AND MONEY.
