We are regular members at our local swingers club and this is all we have experienced as far as "lifestyle friendly" places,so maybe our standards are set quite high. We heard about the Rooftop and figured since we had plans in Miami for 2 days, we would check it out. First off, I asked if we could upgrade the reservations I made over the phone and was told that they were full- I later saw several unused rooms. The room was not clean, I took off my shoes and the tile floor blackened my socks. The room had 2 temps.- FREEZING and SWELTERING HOT and the a/c was a window unit in the wall and has obviously leaked and the smell of mold was evident.There were no plastic cups,coffee makers, even a dresser for our clothes.The only working soda machine is in the parking garage area.There were WAY TOO MANY single men lurking all through the hotel and some were quite aggressive with their "SELF PLEASURING" IN AREAS WHERE THEY "AREN'T ALLOWED". I wouldn't even leave the room alone because it was very uncomfortable and I didn't feel safe at all. People aren't friendly. The "open air atrium" has tables and chairs everywhere, yet the tables were covered in cups and trash and there is no attendant cleaning or steralizing the area and chairs. THERE SHOULD REALLY BE SOME SORT OF ON PREMISE SECURITY!! And to top it off, on our way home I was looking at the receipt and WE WERE OVERCHARGED!!!!!
****UPDATE: I sent this exact message to the "manager" of the RT and he called me- I was sorely disappointed with his attitude since I could have elaborated on a few things, but chose to keep it basic and he argued with me over how the room was when we got there. I'm positive we will not be going back to this place!

Rooftop Resort is a great place to get away and it's really close to all the clubs.
Had a great time meeting other couples and the staff is very friendly. Highly recommended. |
